Yesterday, I posted some musings about the new Rebel K-Wing for the X-Wing miniature game.

Today, the miniature arrived in the mail. Opening the box, I was surprised at how large the ship and the blister are! Look at the comparison above.

I knew the K-Wing was a very large „small ship“, i.e. a ship that flies on a regular small base like the X-Wing or TIE-Fighter, not a large one like the Millennium Falcon, the Outrider or the Slave I.

Still, the K-Wing seems to bridge that border more than I would have guessed, introducing (I think?) a new blister size too, sitting half-way between the regular small ships and the larger ones.

• Have there been ships in the previous six waves that came in this larger blister format?
